Every piece of pottery created by Marlene Bernstein is hand thrown on the potter’s wheel or hand-built in-studio. Glazes are hand-painted or dipped, and all kiln firings are also done in-studio. No two pieces are alike as every kiln load offers up surprises. I hope you embrace the unique personality of each piece I create and embrace the perfectly imperfect things in life.
- Glazes used are food safe unless otherwise indicated
- Dishwasher and microwave safe, (recommended to hand wash to prolong the longevity of the piece)
- May be used with hot or cold liquid/food
- Ceramic items can be prone to thermal shock if moved from hot to cold (or vice versa) too quickly, such as straight from the refrigerator into the microwave or oven.
