Ceramic Spoon Rest / Tray

This hand-built spoon rest is an example of how I solved a problem for myself, and maybe it can help you too. I use a lot of spoons when I cook. I may have 3 different burners going at the same time, and I’m juggling 3 different spoons. I really like the convenience of having one area where I can put all my spoons and spatulas, and not worry about the mess that cooking spoons leave behind all over my countertop.

I needed a large spoon rest. This spoon rest is the best use of the space next to my stovetop. It keeps the counter clean and I can use it for spoons, eggshells, spatulas, and sometimes….appetizers (don’t tell anyone!). It’s super easy to clean and looks really good in my kitchen.

This ceramic “plate” is modern in design and extremely versatile. You can use it as a small platter, appetizer plate, lunch plate, or spoon rest. The rim will keep items from falling off or spilling over the edge. Embossed with a beautiful pattern and glazed to perfection, this item will make any kitchen look sharp.

Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is preferred.

My pottery is hand-built or thrown by me, a potter, from my home pottery studio. My pottery is bisque-fired, and then glaze-fired in my kiln. Each piece is unique and may have small irregularities.
