One of my favorite pieces I have made. This 9.5″ bowl is the perfect size for fresh fruit, bread, or even to be used as a strainer. Made with red-brown clay and glazed with an off-white matt glaze that gives it a creamy finish. The red-brown color of the clay peeks out in places, making the coloring on this bowl extra special. The bowl is double-handled and double-rimmed for strength and decoration. Each strand of clay was carefully braided to achieve this look. Hand-made and perfect for parties, family dinners, and gatherings. Decorative and functional which makes it a great gift for you or a friend.
Stoneware. Off-White Matte Glaze. Oval. 9.5″ wide x 3.5″ tall.
Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is preferred.
Note: The matt glaze is not glossy
My pottery is hand-built or thrown by me, a potter, from my home pottery studio. My pottery is bisque fired, and then glaze-fired in my kiln. Each piece is unique and may have slight irregularities.
