Every piece of pottery created by Marlene Bernstein is hand thrown on the potter’s wheel or hand-built in-studio. Glazes are hand-painted or dipped, and all kiln firings are also done in-studio. No two pieces are alike as every kiln load offers up surprises. I hope you embrace the unique personality of each piece I create and embrace the perfectly imperfect things in life.
- Glazes used are food safe unless otherwise indicated
- Dishwasher and microwave safe, (recommended to hand wash to prolong the longevity of the piece)
- Pottery may be used with hot or cold liquid/food
- Ceramic items can be prone to thermal shock if moved from hot to cold (or vice versa) too quickly, such as straight from the refrigerator into the microwave or oven. Do not cook in an oven above 375 degrees.
